My September 1, 2026
🦋 When the Cards Tell Me to Stop Waiting and Start Building
Yesterday was an emotional roller coaster. There was new life, family, conversations, disappointment, hope, and moments that reminded me how badly I want peace and freedom in my own life.
Baby Lucas arrived on August 31 at 4:15 PM, healthy and beautiful. His arrival felt symbolic to me—a new beginning appearing right in the middle of a time when I am asking myself what needs to change in my own life.
Then there was Jordan, whose birthday brought us back into conversation, and Henry, whose absence reminded me how painful it can be when people give you attention and then disappear.
So I pulled the cards.
đź”® The bigger message
My cards have repeatedly brought me back to the Empress, Justice, and Temperance.
The Empress reminds me of who I am beneath all the worry: creative, feminine, nurturing, capable of creating something beautiful.
Justice tells me to stop making decisions from emotion alone. I need facts, boundaries, financial clarity, and a plan.
Temperance tells me not to rush. I don’t have to run away blindly. I can move forward thoughtfully.
Then came:
Anchor + Scythe — something that has kept me stuck may need to be cut away.
Child + Fish — a new beginning connected with resources, money, and building something of my own.
And the runes:
Raidho — the journey.
Wheel — the cycle is turning.
Kenaz — illumination, finding the light.
That combination speaks to me deeply.
I keep saying I want out of the cage.
Maybe the answer isn’t simply running from the cage.
Maybe the answer is building the door.

❤️ The relationship lesson
The cards around my relationships have also taught me something.
Four of Cups showed dissatisfaction with what I’m being offered.
Five of Pentacles showed loneliness.
Page of Cups reversed showed emotional disappointment.
But then came Two of Cups and Three of Cups.
That reminded me that genuine connection still exists—but I shouldn’t make one person’s attention the measure of my worth.
A beautiful song, a text, or someone’s affection can make my heart smile.
But consistency matters.
I don’t need to decide whether someone is “the one.”
I can simply watch what they do.
Do they stay when life becomes difficult?
Do their actions match their words?
Do they bring peace or confusion?
Those answers matter.

⚔️ My cards about William
When I asked about the solution with William, I pulled King of Swords.
That was powerful.
The message wasn’t emotional chaos.
It was clarity.
Get organized. Understand my finances. Know my options. Establish boundaries. Think about my future.
Then:
Three of Wands — look toward the future.
Knight of Swords — take action, but don’t act recklessly.
Nine of Pentacles reversed — my biggest fear may be losing my independence and financial security.
So my answer isn’t necessarily to run tomorrow.
My answer is to prepare.
Build.
Learn.
Organize.
Create income.
Protect my peace.
And become financially and emotionally stronger.

🦋 My September intention
I am entering this month with a different mindset.
I don’t want to spend September waiting for someone else to change my life.
I want to participate in changing it myself.
I want to walk.
I want to create.
I want to build my business.
I want to make my home peaceful.
I want to meet people who nourish my spirit.
I want love—but I don’t want to lose myself looking for it.
And most importantly:
I want to find my light again.
The message I heard about HEAL keeps coming back to me:
H — Have the conversation.
E — Exhale.
A — Allow God to speak.
L — Lead myself toward the light.
Maybe that’s what this chapter is really about.
Not finding the perfect person.
Not escaping everything overnight.
But becoming the woman who can finally say:
“I am not waiting for someone to rescue me. I am building the life I want, one step at a time. I trust God with the parts I cannot see.”
And perhaps that’s the real Sweet Butterfly Effect.
A butterfly doesn’t become free by fighting the cocoon.
It transforms.
And then it flies. 🦋
Journal question for tonight:
What is one small thing I can build tomorrow that moves me closer to the life I want?
